I am a Forensic Psychology Master’s student at the University of Portsmouth, conducting research to better understand how misogyny may play a role in offending behaviours.

This study aims to explore how adult men understand, construct, and articulate attitudes toward women, including beliefs that may align with misogynistic perspectives, and how these may contribute to the normalisation or justification of behaviours related to violence against women and girls (VAWG). It will examine ideologies around gender roles, masculinity, and acceptable versus unacceptable behaviour, as well as how such views are discussed and rationalised.
